According to the function of T = о protocol, the implementation of the protocol can be divided into physical layer, data link layer, terminal transport layer and application layer. Physical layer and data link layer can refer to ISO7816 standard. In the application of T = 0 protocol, it is not easy to separate the terminal transport layer from the application layer.
The terminal transport layer operates according to the process characters and status bytes returned by the card, so that the reader can process the data clearly. The process byte and status byte returned by the card are related to the usage of APDU (application protocol data unit) and VPP sent to the card by the application layer. It shows the process bytes returned by the terminal transport layer when the SIM card holder does not use VPP.
